E-learning

Friendly Online training

With eLearning now widely accepted as the most cost effective, productive and time efficient way to deliver in-house training and education in the work-place, its no wonder its popularity has increased tenfold in the past decade. It extends to online training also, with the explosion of work-from home arrangements common in many sectors.

The benefits of an eLearning platform are well understood by businesses and institutions, looking to harness technology for mandatory training and interactive learning.

Clear & Accurate

It can be an employee that records the script and that can work perfectly well. But real engagement with animated content or video is best served clearly and accurately by a professional narrator, when it comes to maintaining viewer attention.

When people under-go corporate or mandatory training, there’s often minimal engagement. The subject matter can be dry and most want minimal emotional investment energy on this task.

So it makes sense for the content to be as engaging and memorable as possible.

Subject Expert

Deep subject matter experts, may not be the best at articulating details about their subject in a way that does it justice. If you think about it, why should we expect them to be ?

I’ve met brilliant clinicians, engineers and business leaders with a brain the size of Mars, but unable to sell their ideas to an audience and its such a shame. Communication is everything.

My style is conversational, friendly and most importantly very clear. One size doesn’t fit all though and I inject personality into my work where appropriate to keep the listener fully enthralled.

Medical Background

With a 30 year background in healthcare, I’m clinically literate and when it comes to medical narration this is one of the key factors when considering who should narrate clinical scripts. I’ve narrated interactive learning content for NHS Trusts preparing for CQC Inspections, Annual Mandatory Training and CPD eLearning modules for internal staff development. I’ve also presented business cases to NHS Trust Boards myself, so I know the tone and how to make a convincing case. Click here to listen to me medical narrations.

I’ve worked with Anaesthetists and Surgeons to narrate slide decks for clinical presentations, providing a voice for their training video content. I’ve worked with Health and Social Care organisations to narrate educational content and charitable institutions, improving public health awareness.

Training Videos

I’ve worked with clients in industry to narrate compelling safety training videos, in a way that lifts the subject to a new level. Staff come to work expecting to enjoy this content, or view it as part of their online training. There’s an element of mandatory on-boarding training in most organisations these days, so the experience is better received from a clear, friendly and conversational narrator  ?

HR Educational Videos

Human Resource Teams in both large and small businesses have asked me to create engaging audio to support their legal mandatory training requirements. Finance is one area where both commercial and financial legal considerations have to be explained in a clear and accurate manner.

Interactive Education

I know what good online learning is, having completed a lot of it myself and one thing that stands out for me is the value of a great conversational narrator. When concepts are challenging, it’s Human nature for the mind to wander and focus on any idiosyncrasies. Thats why my professional recording skills are an asset for this work, along with my authentic, genuine passion for delivering training to audiences which comes across in my work.

I’ve narrated video audiobooks for children, as well as open source classic texts for educational institutions around the World, so my offer is broad and my experience has depth.
